GETTING AROUND IN CENTRAL OREGON
First you have to get here. You have your choice of arriving via plane. Redmond's Roberts Field (RDM) is the major airport in Central Oregon with direct service to and from Los Angeles, Las vegas, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver and Salt Lake City. The airlines that service our region are Horizon (Alaska Airlines), United Express (United Airlines), Delta, and Allegiant Air. The airport is currently undergoing an expansive remodel to about three times the size of the current airport.

Roberts Field is located approximately two miles southeast of downtown Redmond, Oregon, and the intersection of Highways 97 and 126. The airport is 16 miles north of Bend, 30 miles north of Sunriver, 20 miles east of Sisters, 20 miles west of Prineville, and 20 miles south of Madras. It is easily accessible from both Highways 97 and 126.

Your other option would be by car. Central Oregon is spread out and a car is almost necessary if you would like to be able to truly experience all Central Oregon and its very diverse cities an attractions that we have to offer. Public Transportation - Bend has a bus system called BAT (Bend Area Transit)!
